What information do we collect and how do we use it?
Please be assured that we only collect information which allows us to deliver our services and information efficiently.
We will collect anonymised data when you visit us online. As with most websites, this may tell us where you’ve visited from, what you’ve looked at and how long you’ve stayed on our site. If you do not accept our cookie policy, you will still be able to use our website, but not every feature may work correctly. (We used WebStat analysis for this purpose)


When you subscribe to our newsletter you are opting-in to receiving marketing information from ourselves; from which you may unsubscribe at any time. If you send us an email to:

Registering for information, or for a general enquiry, your email will be stored securely in an enquiries database to enable relevant contact at a later stage.
We aim to contact everyone on our databases at least once per annum to remind them that you’re on our list and give you the opportunity to unsubscribe.

 

If you sponsor one of colonies, you’re entitled to receive our quarterly newsletter as part of the sponsorship package. All sponsors details will be held on a secure database and as with all our databases, you may unsubscribe at any time.


All electronic data is securely processed within a data server (not hosted by ourselves) in the USA, Canada, Israel or the EEA. Our website is encrypted to the highest standards and only essential data is shared within our Charity.

Firstly, we do not sell, market, share or send any data to anyone without permission or consent.


We have a strict internal data policy, which means that only authorised and compliant
parties have access to data, and this data will only be shared with essential third parties (such as vets, law enforcement officials etc) when express permission has been received, or as required to ensure the health and wellbeing of animals or our own volunteers.
